i wouldn't say that i have a good relationship with my bf's mom . . . i wouldn't even say that i like her very much at all. i guess i dont have much respect for someone that acts like a child and expects her son to do everything for her besides goto her shitty job at the truck stop.
since she has lost her car because she's an irritational idiot, she's been trying to get me to drive an hour all the way to longview to take her to run errands and it feels so good just saying "nah, i dont feel like it"-although sometimes i cave in just to keep appearances up. so, what are your feelings towards your significant other's parental figures? |

Eh.. my boyfriend's Vietnamese, so yea I understand what they're saying half the time, lol. Anyways, I don't particularly like to be around them that much, but they don't ask much of me. I think they think I'm scared of it. It's just that I don't like to be around his family that much.
My boyfriend's sister pretty much controls the household -- whatever she says, usually goes her way. She's like.. 38 nor or something. Anyways, she is pretty judgmental at times, so yea I usually say hi and smile, and say hi to the parents. The brothers whatever so I say wassup and then that's it. I usually stay in my boyfriend's room unless Tony tells me I have to go to eat with them or something. I don't know.. I can't get used to his family's lifestyle and expectations of a girlfriend, I guess. I mean, I don't even drive and it's not like I'm rich or anything. ![]() |
