I call these drawings DIVIDE, all of this is done in a regular sketchbook with a regular black pen. I believe its 9 X 12. All of them have stories, lessons, and symbology in them. As you can see, the more I do, the more patient I have gotten. =P
DIVIDE I - Passion DIVIDE II - Heart, my least detailed one. DIVIDE III - Horizons DIVIDE IV - King DIVIDE V - Valor DIVIDE VI - Knight DIVIDE VII - Call DIVIDE VIII - Hesitation DIVIDE IX - Truth DIVIDE X - Deathnote DIVIDE XI - Blessing, my most detailed one. I have two others, XII and XIII, that I have yet to upload. I'll post them once I scan them.
Reason for edit: Thumbed. - Cristy

Thanks, appreciate the comments. I'll do the thumb thing from now on.
Hm, I don't know how long the old ones took me, probably a school week or two in my spare time, at school...I rushed Heart, though. You can tell, I don't like how that one came out. @ Freeborn_Kiwi: Yeah, I think that curves are nice to have, its just they have to flow with angles. Sharp points make things more interesting, if you don't overdo it of course. And perhaps =/ Heres another one, much different from the ones I just posted, because this is a photo shopped photo of me from sixth grade (That I made in sixth grade)... 95% of this picture was made using filters. The only part that aren't filters, are the stars...originally. The stars just used to be color gradients but then I added filters later. =/ I love the part where the orange star goes into the face, personally. |
