I don't know if you guys have heard the controversy regarding the latest Vogue cover...
![]() People are complaining that it's racist. That his "gorilla-like" pose is perpetuating racial stereotypes. That it portrays an angry black man. That it screams "King Kong." If you see a black man and a white woman on a cover and immediately think "King Kong" then really... who's the racist? I'm really getting sick of people calling things out as racist when there's none to be found. People need to lighten up. |

On this other forum I posted on it was not so much the cover they were complaining about. They however were calling Lebron a coon for his part even appearing on Vogue due to the fact that the magazine has mostly white people in it, but yet unwilling to sign a petition of condemnation to the Chinese government for their role in Dwarfer.
They said all his teammates signed it but him , and they think its money involved because of his contract with Nike ( somehow ties to China I forgot how) and the upcoming Olympics being held in China. |
