Have you ever been at this point where you really want to do a project but have NO idea what to do? I've been like that for the past few MONTHS. I would find an assortment of stuff to use and open photoshop. I'll do a quick blend or colourization and then close the program w/o saving. Then, I'll do that entire thing again.
Nothing turns out right. I'm in a HUGE block. I'm an amateur so it's not like whipping something good up is second nature. I have to think. *taps side of head* What do you do to get out of a slump? What usually brings about the slump? |

oh man, i do this so much sometimes. i tried to do that before too but it is not the best idea. the best ideas come from yourself. i frequently get inspiration from other sites still but the end result is only another mirrored cliche. it's really hard sometimes if you're struggling with block but then again everyone has their own ways of gaining inspiration.to be honest i search through websites to gain some inspiration. not to copy ideas, just to be sparked by the colours and composition. |
