Okay, I have an issue that has never ocurred in my life before, and I seriously need help from the experts.
A few days ago, my guy friend had become very strange and started to flirt with me a few weeks after breaking up with his girlfriend, who is my best friend. Every now and then, he holds my hand without my permission and walks with me. Because I'm shy and have bad communication skill with guys, and I have an issue with saying no - in certain cases - I can reject him. This Saturday, my freinds and I (including him) are going to see a movie and he even said he wanted to sit by me. It's freaking me out alot and I don't know what to do... I knew he liked me since the beginning of the school year, but I just want my friend back, he's like my friggin' brother. Please, help. ~Kiwi |

There's really nothing you can do except to open your mouth, and say the following words: "I don't want to have an intimate relationship with you. I would like to keep you as a friend and nothing more. I only see you as my brother." Say it's harsh words, but if you say it firmly and straightforward, you can stop this sooner. Just say that you want your friendship to stay with a brother/sister love, not a girlfriend/boyfriend love. And about your issue in saying no, trust me, once you do this, you'll feel a lot better.
