Personally I don't see how they can portray such an awesome book into a movie. Should be interesting to see what they make of it. Book will always be better in my eyes.

haha. Thanks! Yeah, I was cruising through Livejournals last night. There's a couple of really good Twilight based communities that I thoroughly enjoyed reading through. I was reading through some fan reactions, not just here, but in several places that talks about Gaspard Ulliel. Without doubt, he probably has the majority of fan votes for the role. I don't see it. I think he has a look that could fit, but there's a depth missing that I think Rob P has.

Are you in twilight_film? I'm in that one, but I don't care that much about the film anymore, actually. >_< I'm too wrapped up in the posts made in dbsg and yg_bigbang (Asian artists, heh). LJ communities are seriously addictive.

I think Gaspard looks a lot more like Edward than Robert ever could.

I personally think Gaspard would have been perfect (although I'm happy with Robert) because he has that whole French mystique thing, which could be translated into Edward's vampire sophisticatedness...
