I don't know if you guys have heard the controversy regarding the latest Vogue cover...
 People are complaining that it's racist. That his "gorilla-like" pose is perpetuating racial stereotypes. That it portrays an angry black man. That it screams "King Kong." If you see a black man and a white woman on a cover and immediately think "King Kong" then really... who's the racist? I'm really getting sick of people calling things out as racist when there's none to be found. People need to lighten up. |

I got that issue in the mail a few days ago, and definitely didn't see it like that. Giselle was almost unrecognizable to me...which in a way was a good thing. God I hate her.

WTH, first people (in general, no racial intentions here) complain about being underrepresented, and when something is portrayed in a way that is not to their liking, they complain about it. This just goes to show how f*cked up some things are. Haha I also think it's kinda cute. |
