I don't know if you guys have heard the controversy regarding the latest Vogue cover...
![]() People are complaining that it's racist. That his "gorilla-like" pose is perpetuating racial stereotypes. That it portrays an angry black man. That it screams "King Kong." If you see a black man and a white woman on a cover and immediately think "King Kong" then really... who's the racist? I'm really getting sick of people calling things out as racist when there's none to be found. People need to lighten up. |

edit//^i know, i think it's quite cute as well
how unbelievably pathetic for people to think that this is racist. always trying to stir up controversy. i would have never come to the conclusion of lebron portraying a "king kong" like image. i mean HELLO, has anyone ever seen him play basketball before?? he's aggressive on the court and it just shows that side of him on the cover. |
