But im completely clueless on which one to buy because i need one that will work with both my mac laptop and my windows desktop.

any ideas?

Oh and i dont want to spend a mini fortune on one, but i am willing to spend enough so that the image quality isn't a piece of shit.

Anyways, I recommend getting a webcam somwhere between $50-$70 for a decent one. If you're going to be cheap and get a $20-$30, might as well not get it. Those webcam are wayyy to sucky, and since you aren't willing to pay like $100 for one, which I don't see why you would want one for that much, but yeah 50-70$ is good. I suggest Logitech brand. Mine's 2.4 MegaPixels. It's pretty decent.
