If you have a Facebook, you probably know about the group called "BRB, IM NOT REALLY GOING ANYWHERE, BUT NEITHER IS THIS CONVERSATION" (click). When you say "brb," are you actually going somewhere temporarily or pretending to be away? Same for "lol," "lmao," and "rofl": are you really amused or just saying that because you have no better response?
I always mean the acronyms that I use. |

well...when i say "lol" its more of a giggle or a really short laugh irl
when i say "brb" im usually doing something where im not able to talk to the person i say "rofl" when i really cant stop laughing and "lmao" usually when someone says something stupid, its kind of an evil laugh haha |
