Empty Topics All Around Options

I decide I want to do my annual 5 posts a couple days back, and I've seen a whole lot of new topics (in the Help section) that have been closed due to bad topic names. So instead of addressing their problems, we have mods running around reminding us to put a proper topic name. As if to add insult to injury, they close the topic so anyone who wants to help can't. I mean, sure that person who has 4 posts who started the thread probably won't come back and read it, but what if someone else has that problem? Maybe I'm being rash, but we've got Help topics that don't help much at all.

I really don't think it's exactly harsh to close a topic because of bad information - a lot of the time, the person makes one post, then when we respond back asking for code, a link, screenshot, whatever, they never reply with that information. If they do, it takes way too long to get the issue resolved for the person asking for help. It's for their benefit that we ask them for all this information right up front, and part of being clear enough for someone to help you is making sure your topic title at least makes sense with the question you're asking.

So my answer is that I don't get why anyone would not want to follow the rules. It's annoying to the people trying to help, and it causes a delay on their question getting answered. If they make a topic the way we ask them to, it's much easier for everyone involved.
