hmm.. it depends..
i have my front pair speakers replaced with kolk-momo, which was 130 dollars (discounted). i'm getting my rear replaced as well, with the small speaker units, so i guess we're talking about a total of six speakers. even without a momo amplifier, the sound in the front systems increased by two fold. i'm not a believer in subs or kickers, so instead i'm getting a custom momo head unit, along with an amp that'll be drilled inside the hatch. mind you, i'm not getting those cheap units that everyone gets off ebay, and no it's not going to sound like a rattling fart canon. with a good setup, you're talking about roughly a little under 1000 dollars (everything cept subs). so i suggest you go step by step. get the speakers replaced first, especially the blown out ones, the headunit, then the amp... or you can be those idolizing honda civics and get a big ass sub and don't replace anything at all. |
