You're right. I'm not a Soldier, nor do I work with the Army. I can pass on information about Marines and green-side Sailors, though

Not necessarily. One would think that being in the Navy would give you and understanding of the other four branches, or at least know some of the generalities that apply to all 4 branches. Not to say I'm taking his side or anything, just that statement was full of fail.
