Retouches, that is. There's something about making somebody look better...
Anyway, Katherine Heigl at the Academy Awards. Am I the only one who thought she looked WAY too made up? Her MA went crazy with the bronzer. I hated how her lipstick matched her dress, too. Before: ![]() After: EDIT// Took Mark's advice and took lips from another image (random Scarlett Johansson) in an attempt for more dimension to her lips. (Previous version) ![]() Toned down the makeup on the lips and cheeks - I think she looks much more natural this way. What do you think? your right she does lookmore natural when you retouched her picture. your really good yo ![]() what program do you use? Haha thanks. I use Photoshop CS3. i LOVE this!! everything just looked so overdone with her cheeks and lips. i've been trying to retouch her skin the way you did, but i can't quite figure out how you got everything to be one smooth color tone? i was using the healing brush but that's usually for spots.. i'm sure there's an easier way to fix her skin besides clicking the mouse 936579382 times! Yeah, I basically used the healing brush. There's really no quick fix for it (not that I know of). I did help lessen the amount of healing I had to do though, with a few things: 1) Lightened the darkness in her cheeks; used lasso tool set at around 20 px feathering around dark spots, and adjusted Curves to make a bit lighter. 2) Selecting a larger area of her cheeks, again set to 20 px feathering, I applied Gaussian blur...I think around 2-3 px. This just helps for healing to be easier; her pores in the original make it a bit hard to smooth out, so a slight blur helps. Apart from that, it's healing brush all the way! Occasionally I used the clone stamp because the healing brush does some weird things around edges (gets super dark). Thanks all. :) |
