Depends... you need to figure out what size subs, how much wattage it can push, and the make and model of the subs.
You also need to know how much wattage you want your amp to push, (you wanna have more watts in a amp than any amount of speakers combined). As well as the make and model of the amp will affect price. For the head unit.. that depends as well. Do you want to play DVDs? Do want to play satellite radio? Do you want to play mp3/wav files? You also need to know how much wattage the head unit pushes out to the speakers not hooked up to the amp. And make and model also makes a difference in price. Usually subs come with the box as a whole price. Unless you buy them piece by piece... which isn't a really good idea. It's better to buy them with the box. Even the box itself can affect the sound of the sub. So never buy subs and housing box separately, it's a bad idea. Overall.. I would recommend Bose. But Bose is definitely pricey. It's very high quality product and sound production. |
