Should hair be shaven on the direction of its growth? How do I prevent areas outside the armpit from being excluded in shaving? I noticed that to get a cleaner shave, I had to include areas outside the armpit, but those areas became hairy now. It's very embarrassing to have hairy armpits. Please advice.

I've...never heard of a girl getting hair outside of the immediate area of the armpit! Still, variety - spice of life and all that.
It's usual to shave in the direction that the hair grows - though this is really difficult under your arms and so doesn't really apply. You'd shave with the direction, not against, if you were doing your bikini line, your arms or legs. As for getting hairier when you shave...it happens I'm afraid. You'll either have to go right ahead and wax the areas you don't like (it lasts much longer than a shave does, hair re-growth wise) or use a product that rids the skin completely of the hair folicle, though I don't recommend these. Other than that, it's a shave a day. Personally, I try to shave every other day; you feel cleaner for it and once your start, there's no stopping. |
