a friend of mine asked this question and i just suddenly think and told her... "well, you can tell if you and your significant other love each other. i mean in a sense that you know that you love him and you also know that he loves you too." that's what i told her. but she asked me again, how can you tell if that person really loves you? and i told her, "it's a matter of trust to each other" and then she's like, okay i will accept that answer.
then couple of minutes passed, she replied and said, "there's this one guy i love. he knows that i love him and he tells me that he loves me too. but the problem is, i don't really feel that he loves me. do you think that's true love? i mean, how could you tell? if you asked about our relationship, well, it's a serious relationship but i feel there's something that doesnt make sense at all. i feel it's only one sided, though he said he loves me.. i still don't feel it. what should i do? how would i know?" that's what my friend asked me but i really have no clue of what to say. so for those people who read this, at least give my friend some advice. thanks a lot! |

How old is your friend? I'm going to save me some time by assuming she is in high school. Save your friend some time by assuming she doesn't love him. Tell her he probably doesn't love her either. It's a one way street down Relationship Lane in high school, and the only inhabitant in that relationship is her.

Oh, I've seen a lot of them crash and burn, losing a childhood friend. Just not worth the risk. Not worth the risk? oh my god. So love isn't worth the risk? The first person you date may not be the one for you, you have to experiment though and see what you want and need in a relationship. Yes, most people will have failed relationships, but they're all learning processes. They're all necessary. Yeah and these days there are even some older couples that crash and burn, quite a lot actually. oh my god who would've thought that it's not just high schoolers!? To the person who started this...just tell your friend to trust him. thats all she can really do. |

What the f**k are you talking about? QUOTE Umm, excuse me but are you implying that relationships in highschool don't work? because if so, then im sad to tell you your very wrong. I am so very surprised now that i am out of highschool, at how man people actually stay together throughout highschool and even after Graduation. You really shouldn't say something like that to her, because after all its her friend were talking about. mellow.gif What the f**k are you talking about? I'm implying that most high school relationships end. The fact of the matter is, people in high school are still in a bubble. You only know so many people. When you go out and actually are in college and start working, the probability is extremely high that your curiosity for other will overtake you. |
