I think you should just talk to him normally, and try to "flirt" with him haha. Just try to hint out that you like him, and if possible, try to ask your friends to ask him if he likes you. I'm sure he's showing interest to you since he said he notices you in the library a lot. ;). If he didn't like you, why would he care if you're in the library or not, right? :). Just try to talk to him as much as possible, and just be yourself. I'm sure that he'll realize you're different from his other friends. I also think that when he introduced himself to you, he's telling you he's showing some interest. Just try to talk to him as much as possible! :). Try to get to know each other better. I hope everything works out :D.
