Do you believe you have control over your emotions?, Quick question. Options

Just curious what people think on this since I've heard a few different opinions so I thought I'd bring the question here.

Do you believe you can control what you feel? I know we can all obviously control what we do with what we feel, but do you think emotions just happen and that you can't help what you feel? You may suppress the feeling whatever it may be, or just let it be, but do you think these emotions are uncontrollable or the opposite?

I can control some emotions. Sometimes i can cope with whatever is going on in my life at that particular moment, and sometimes i break down and yell, scream and throw things. It really just depends on the day and my mood.

Sometimes i over react to little things for no apparent reason, these are some of the worst days because it seems like everything bugs me!

I wear my emotions on my sleeve and i'm pretty un-predictable.

Agreed...With that being said, I used to be an emotional wreck. One day somebody confronted me, and said that by acting out publicly, and being childish, I am making a fool out of myself. I have learned to hide my emotions in other ways, albeit unstable ways. I think that you must control your emotions as much as humanly possible.
