Retouches, that is. There's something about making somebody look better...
Anyway, Katherine Heigl at the Academy Awards. Am I the only one who thought she looked WAY too made up? Her MA went crazy with the bronzer. I hated how her lipstick matched her dress, too. Before: ![]() After: EDIT// Took Mark's advice and took lips from another image (random Scarlett Johansson) in an attempt for more dimension to her lips. (Previous version) ![]() Toned down the makeup on the lips and cheeks - I think she looks much more natural this way. What do you think? ^ I know! It's so hard to create a different kind of lip when the original is so matte to begin with. Anyone have tips?
But I have to say the eyelashes are kinda my favorite part. How you do dah? You could do it the hard way (pen tool, gah. Kill me now). But I just Googled "eyelash brushes" and found a brush set made by someone on deviantArt (oh, I should credit them, shouldn't I? Oops.) Then I use the Warp Tool to adjust them so they fit her eye. If you want it to look more natural, I suggest making the eyelashes a light brown colour, and set that new layer to "Multiply". http://redheadstock.deviantart.com/art/Eye...rushes-60583855 Thanks, everyone. :) |

I'll download them soon. I also wanted to ask what method you used to make the lips more pink and natural. I have my ways of trying to do it, but for some reason I always feel like I'm doing it wrong. But as for adding more natural texture to the lips (less matte), my best guess would be to implant someone else's lip texture, though it kinda has to be the perfect picture. :P |
