I find it kind of rude, but that's just me. When things are closed prematurely, I often have things I feel like saying (maybe that's why I created a new topic, who knows?! I do, and it is.) but I can't because someone who didn't post that they closed the topic, closed it.

Because there are never follow up questions. Useless is your opinion, and clarification is needed from time to time on certain issues, particularly stupid ones.
