links on myspace, links out |

I recently noticed some people that have links to there website on their myspace proflies. When i tried to link to my website, it would send me to myspace home. Am I doing something wrong?
this is an example of what i did. QUOTE <a href="site url"> <img src="button image"border="0"> </a> Any information would be nice

some links on myspace doesn't allow to get off the site. like for example if you do
CODE <a href="www.geocities.com/_____><img src=blah> it doesn't work because, myspace isn't letting any site besides photobucket off the site. i don't know why, but i experienced that problem too.
