According to a recently released FBI report, Gang-related activity in the US military is increasing and poses a threat to law enforcement officials and national security.
The report, Gang Activity in the U.S. Armed Forces Increasing, dated January 12, states that members of nearly every major street gang have been identified on both domestic and international military installations. These street gangs include the Bloods, Crips, Black Disciples, Gangster Disciples, Hells Angels, Latin Kings, The 18th Street Gang, Mara Salvatrucha (MS-13), Mexican Mafia, Nortenos, Surenos, Vice Lords, and various white supremacist groups. to be honest, when i was in i didn't really see any of that kind of stuff. the only "gang" that i saw while in the military were the masons. i personally do not approve of their "fraternity" if you want to call it that.
There were a lot of fighting that would occur at nightclubs and such involving soldiers. but it was for various reason, not really gang related. i dont think there is a way to determine who is a member of a gang or not. but i feel that the military should take a strong action against those who do become involved in gang related incidents. but a slap on the wrist should not be the punishment. the military would sometimes issue what they call an article 15. depending on the severity of the issue, they would relinquish pay, force the soldier to perform various duties after work, and would restrict them from certain places. and this punishment would last for how ever many days the military would give. but these article 15's i dont think really get the message across to someone who is in a gang. but then again, i'm not in a gang and i would always turn a blind eye to things like this. well, thats my opinion. |

But you're fat so turning your head would have been too much effort. |
