Marquee of top friends?, Is this possible? Somebody help!!! Options

I just recently found this site early today, and found a totally awesome layout. I've got everything in working order except...

There is a marquee that has places for little pictures on it. My question: Is it possible to have my top 4 friends (like the would be on a default myspace, not just their picture, but a link to their profile) on the marquee instead of just plain pictures? Does this make any sense? Someone please help!!

from what you've posted I can't really see that there would be any problem. could you please post the rest of your coding, that would help me to better see if there is a coding error.

also, if you just want a marquee of your top friends on the default layout try this script. Just add links into the code instead of regular text.
