So. I know alot of you on this forum currently reside in Asia, my question to you is how is your english so perfected? Do they offer english classes? _unsure.gif Im not sure how the school systems work over there so could some one enlighten me?

Oh and are there any language classes in particular that you are forced to take? (generally speaking from what we here call "Elementary" till "High School") mellow.gif

I live in Japan, but I'm an American.

There are required English courses students are required to take throughout the K-12 level, but it doesn't explore much of the language past basic grammar and conversational skills. Once in college, students have the choice of what language they'll pursue, and it may or may not be English. From what I've noticed, those that study English are already immersed in Western culture, whether it be music or movies, so their comprehension of English is really impressive.
