Require a college education to be a police officer, increase pay so that one could make a decent living making the job sound more appealing. Requiring a college education would help weed out the complete idiots that cops tend to be. Just a thought :)

NYPD have some of the lowest starting salaries out there, and that i s in itself a shame. |
