After you have an idea of a website you want to make, know what you want in it and selected a web host, where does it go from there...?
Do you tell them what you want in it and they do it? Will they have different formats/style you can select from, do you have to make that up yourself or buy it from another site? I know they give you space for what you pay for, but will there be a selection of ways you could have your site done? Also...will they do the "clickable" stuff for you? example the top of this page says....Layouts, Graphics, Scripts ect. can I tell them what to put up there and they'll do it? Thanks. |

The way I'm understanding your post, (please don't take this the wrong way!) you seem to be rather inexperienced in the web development field. Am I correct in that assumption?
Basically, you won't find a host who will take care of all these things for you - what you need is a web designer, someone who will handle most of it and make it something you can work with - the host only provides space for your site and very basic site-building tools, nothing as detailed as what you're wanting. When you hire a web designer, you would talk over with them what would happen if the site needed updated, etc. Hiring someone to build a site for you can be very expensive, but if you're not familiar with how to build a site and need this anytime soon, it will be your best option. Also, I realize you didn't receive a response in a little more than 24 hours, but please don't bump topics in this forum while they're still on the first page - give everyone a chance to look at it first, then after you've given it some time it's acceptable to bring up your topic again. :) |
