To this day, I don't understand what it fcking means to be flattered. Is it good to say, "wow, I'm flattered"?
My life won't ever be complete until I get this. ![]() |

I hate thinking of ways to acknowledge compliments. I hate how our so called educators enjoy teaching us the morals of complimenting others every day in order to feel better about ourselves and boost self esteem. Honestly, how the hell is that gonna help?
So I rather just not be complimented. People telling me they love me is fine enough. But to answer your question, my definition of 'flattered' would be an uncontrollable absorption of something directed toward yourself. Like when people say "Omg, I'm flattered!" I'm guessing that they can hardly absorb the shower of compliments. Idk, just taking a stab. ![]() |
