Indians (India) are Asians and they're not "yellow skinned" so no... you can't generalize a whole region as yellow skinned people.

You're right. We Asian.

That's why I used to use the term Oriental for those you'd categorize under "yellow" but apparently, that's a racial term.

Never quite figured out how to separate the browns from the yellows in the Asian category without stepping on a couple toes.

People these days are very sensitive. Could you classify someone from Orient descent as Mongolian, without the race card being used?
