this may seem a bit juvenile, but i loved alfonso cuaron's version of a little princess. i like the original story, but his version seemed cleaner, with less filler, and way more creative --aesthetically(compared to the original black and white movie with sherly temple) and story-line wise (compared to the book).
come to think of it, i also favor cuaron's version of prisoner of azkaban over the book. |
