Do you ever get the sense that the months are changing way too fast? Like, you look at something that's coming up on the last day of February, and that seems forever away...but suddenly it's February 24, and the 29th it coming up so soon. And with years, too. I spent all these years look forward to 2007 for graduation, and it didn't seem like it could get there soon enough, but suddenly it's 2008 and where has the time gone? Then again, it's taken nearly 2 months for it to really occur to me that it's a whole new year, so maybe time isn't flying by so much as that I'm just really behind.

I've also had that feeling. Especially now, when my fresman year in college is nearly over. I'm already starting midterms :O.
I remember sitting in the auditorium as a freshman in high school, listening to the school principal tell us that time will fly by and we'll be college students before we know it. Now that's all over. I'm not in high school anymore; I'm no longer that naive, overly snarky pain in the ass that I used to be. I'm not only amazed by how quickly the time went, but also at how much I've grown and learned through those years. |
