just curious, i guess, but how do you know your boyfriend or girl friend loves you aside from the fact that they say it? i know every guy and girl are different in how they show emotions so i had to ask. i know i had a post almost identical to this one but this is more for other people then myself...well...more for a friend.
(i talked to a friend about how she knows and i want to see ways other people know) |

I also agree that actions have the most impact. whether it's helping you cope through a tragedy or simply holding you close, these kinds of things are signs of love/friendship. "true" love involves accepting someone despite their flaws and cherishing him/her even in their most vulnerable moments. you don't try to change your partner (unless it's some drug-related problem and you want to help him quit). i know these are generalizations and in the end, it's up to you to find out. like others have said, you'll just know.
I think shakespeare's sonnet 116 pretty much sums it up for me. |
