from college. :[
Seriously, it's been updating for over 30 minutes now. Does it normally take this long? I'm not very iPod savvy, obviously. This morning it wouldn't automatically update like it normally does. It said something about corruption (gasp!) so I did the whole restore original settings thing. I haven't updated iTunes because the last time I did, it f**ked everything up. I read on different forums that it was ok to not update and that in some cases, you're worse off for updating. Anyway, any advice or words of comfort would be totally appreciated. |

Video, 30 gig. It's a little over a year old.
I think I figured something out though. It was sort of stuck and I needed to reset the iPod itself before restoring. At least now I see a progress bar and it's not just stuck on the same screen (the iPod itself as well as iTunes). SO now it appears that the iPod is in fact restoring. What's going to really twist my noodle later is whether or not I really needed to restore the damn thing or just reset the iPod itself. Damn me to hell. |
