There is no specific reason. There's a reason why I posted the links in this thread. I am not the best person to ask specific questions in regards to Islam.

Why do Jews marry little girls?

-.- It's old tradition... Ancient tradition, even the Ancient Egyptians married off their children. So did your ancestors, Mongolian (forgive me for assuming you're Asian if I'm wrong).

I go by MY Qur'an not "info that is out there"

I don't know any of my ancestors that married and lived with someone before puberty. And I'm pretty sure none of my ancestors claimed to be prophets or started their own religions.

How many different versions of the Koran are there? Different sects? I'm asking because I get different answers from different Muslims. Is there an Islamic equivalent to the Pope? If not, where do you place authority for the beliefs? Is the Koran inerrant?

Yes it was acceptable but Islam wasn't the only belief system either, so you can't single them out. As for the rule changing, yeah you can say that, it's a tradition in which is slowly being phased out.

But so are all the other belief systems, so again... the rule didn't change just for Islam.

I'm a pretty big history buff, I know my historical events pretty well.

I don't think you understand what's the point of religion. The reason why religion exist is because these were people who spread the teachings of God. Religion is just a label for a group of followers of God.

Religion wasn't meant to be used to create wars, to force teachings, or what have you. It was just meant to keep the word of God alive.

There's legitimately only two versions of the Qur'an. The Sunni version and the Shia version. Which answers the question, "how many sects of Islam is there?" There's specifically only 2 sects in the root of Islam. But then there's the Westernized branches of these two sects which most of the time is blasphemous.

There's no such thing as a higher being on earth who can speak to God such as the Catholic pope. Only prophets could speak to God and hear God at any given time.

Popes only exist for one thing and one thing only, to control the people with "religious politics". Nothing more, nothing less.

The true authority of Islam is the word of God via the Qur'an.
