Just because you believe in the teachings doesn't mean you have to follow the rules. I'm not saying make up the rules as you go along, what I'm saying is... You're not really harming anybody by doing these. I wouldn't say the "Neo-Islam" trend is right, but I believe it's the ideas behind it you should believe in. Not the rules. Don't know if that made sense?
