So is anyone watching for the lunar eclipse tonight? Tonight its viewable from North and South America. People in Europe and Africa will be able to see it high in the sky before dawn tomorrow. Its going to be viewable beginning around 7 p.m. if youre on the West Coast and 10 p.m. if youre on the East Coast.
Anyone taking pictures? _smile.gif

I was going to watch it, but I lost track of time and missed it. :T. Thanks for showing the pictures, RockItStudios. At least I have a better view of how it looks. I remember on the day of some kind of eclipse (one that happened in 2007), the sun was redish and orange in the morning (around 8) and I thought it was something about the eclipse (the eclipse ended way before 8, probably a couple of hours before) but it was really from wildfires and etcetera lol. I didn't have a clue until my teacher told me. x__x;;

ooo I watched that one too, while it was 8am for you (assuming you live in Eastern side of Asia, Japan, China, etc..) I was watching it on the beach with my neighbor from 5pm-7pm. The sun was setting and as it disappeared into the ocean (not literally) it became nearly blood red, it was awesome!
