For all of you with babies, kids, and pets out there. Maybe its just me, but whenever I wake up or come home I have to hear the sound of my dog barking or if hes just lying down, I have to see if he moves or hes breathing. I guess I'm just scared that one day I'll wake up or come home and he won't be.
 Am I the only one with this fear? I wonder if this is how I'll be when my baby comes.

Sometimes. It doesn't happen everyday. There have been times that I just start thinking about something happening, or I have a bad dream about my pets or family (weird, I know) and no matter what time it is I have to make sure they're okay.
