yeah, i have a macbook. i'm about to get a mac mini cause the dell desktop crashed.
![]() they only take some getting used to. especially the no-right click and using the apple key instead of the control key. but they're really user friendly. at least, more user friendly than windows computers. p: |

There is a right-click button. Go get a mouse that has right click. I use a Logitech laptop mouse (V400? I forget what model it was) and I right-click all the time. Also if you go to system preferences, you can set it so that if you tap with two fingers (not two finger scroll, which scrolls the page up and down) it right clicks. It's that easy. ^^;; You never knew? :P I own a macbook. My half-sister wanted a new computer, so I went to the apple store in my city and purchased the New Imac. It's pretty sleek, but she's still os x tiger, which we prefer over leopard anyway. They are a little bit more expensive than some pc laptops (i.e. Dell Vostro lol), but pretty good. I did have to reformat once, within the past 6 months (got mines end of July), but only because my preferences would never save. So I backed up all my stuff, reformatted (A MUCH FASTER INSTALLATION THAN WINDOWS!), and reinstalled. It was kinda cool because I got to the the 3-d effect when I first install. Mmmm oishii... =X Difficult to use? NO. It's not hard at all. I mean, it comes with an instruction booklet, and even then I didn't use it. And there's a website that has various tips on how to use it, like mac tips of the day. |

Two taps of the finger is not going to make much of a difference. Oh yes and there are mouses you can buy that can run on various surfaces. My bf has a logitech vx revolution for his laptop and it runs so seamlessly that I often use it when I'm on the bed, despite the squishy surface. No problem on the suggestion. Just helping out a fellow mac-owner. ![]() medic - Oh whoops I forgot that add that I ONLY USE MAC OS X TIGER. I'd rather not deal with Leopard as it is still new with a lot of bugs. It's also much slower with running, unless you're overclocking or download some patches. OS X Tiger took a shorter amount of time to install than Windows XP (Professional). I am not even going to bother with Leopard until maybe a year later as it does not concern me. As for Vista, I know a couple of people who still have not converted because it also has a lot of bugs. Ultimately it depends on how well you know how to work around Vista and/or Leopard. I apologize for not clarifying that I was speaking of Tiger and XP. |
