okayy this might seem like a gross topic, but i just turned 15 and i have had my period for about 2 years. i have never worn a tampon in my life because i'm afraid they will get stuck up there haha and also because i don't feel comfortable putting them in. i've always been using pads. the thing is, i am an internationally ranked ballerina...i dance with boston ballet (their youth company) and i go to intensive programs at other ballet companies every summer. the point is i wear leotards and tights all the time which are always uncomfortable when i have a huge pad! i have a really heavy flow so i don't really know what to do...any suggestions?

it's actually nothing to brag about seeing how i performed my acrobatic solo at a school talent show and now everyone makes fun of my flexibility and asks me if i am human!!! =( |
