I am a nice guy. I'm a good person, etc. But I have had nothing but horrible experiences with dating. Most recently I went out on a date with a girl. It seemed to go well. She said she wanted a 2nd date. Then she told me she was more comfortable talking online. Then she rejected me on valentine's day.

So it has me thinking do girls go for guys that are a**holes more than a guy that is nice?? I don't mean a guy that is overly nice either.

Also, I'm 21 and a virgin. I've had chances to lose it, but I haven't. I've been thinking I would save it for that special person. What a dummy I've been for thinking that, because the people I keep meeting are nowhere near special! My cousin and a few of my guy friends keep telling me to just lose it. They say I'll feel more confident, and I'll do better with dating. Is that true??

Do girls look down on guys that are virgins? I say that, because I've been out with girls, and I've said I'm a virgin. They'll say encouraging words, but you can see a look of disappointment on their face.

Why the hell would you tell girls that you've never had sex with anyone? Girls like confidence, and at 21 telling everyone that you're a virgin, girls start to make themselves believe that you're a wishy-washy, inexperienced, unconfident guy waiting to "lose it already."

And, no, sex will not make you more confident. You'll feel good for about five minutes, and then everything will come back to slap you in the face the next morning, being reserved all over again.

Who's asking whom out? If you're doing the asking, you're probably being drawn to the wrong girls.
