Saving the World 101 Options

If we were to start a campaign to save the world, where should we start? Obviously, a lot of people see there are a lot of problems in the world. So, out of all of them, what do you think is the worst and humankind should tackle it right away?

Poverty? Famine? Global Health? Perfect the First-World countries so they can help others? Or bring the Third-World countries up to date? Make one world power? Disease?

Where would someone start saving the world?

I'm all for fending for one's self. That's not to say I think we should just f**k everyone over, but I hate when people become reliant on the government to help them out because of their dumb decisions. I also hate government intervention in non-necessities. IMO the government should be here for basic needs i.e.:

Defense
Basic Education
Infrastructure
