yeah, i have a macbook. i'm about to get a mac mini cause the dell desktop crashed.
![]() they only take some getting used to. especially the no-right click and using the apple key instead of the control key. but they're really user friendly. at least, more user friendly than windows computers. p: |

There is a right-click button. Go get a mouse that has right click. I use a Logitech laptop mouse (V400? I forget what model it was) and I right-click all the time. Also if you go to system preferences, you can set it so that if you tap with two fingers (not two finger scroll, which scrolls the page up and down) it right clicks. It's that easy. ^^;; You never knew? :P I own a macbook. My half-sister wanted a new computer, so I went to the apple store in my city and purchased the New Imac. It's pretty sleek, but she's still os x tiger, which we prefer over leopard anyway. They are a little bit more expensive than some pc laptops (i.e. Dell Vostro lol), but pretty good. I did have to reformat once, within the past 6 months (got mines end of July), but only because my preferences would never save. So I backed up all my stuff, reformatted (A MUCH FASTER INSTALLATION THAN WINDOWS!), and reinstalled. It was kinda cool because I got to the the 3-d effect when I first install. Mmmm oishii... =X Difficult to use? NO. It's not hard at all. I mean, it comes with an instruction booklet, and even then I didn't use it. And there's a website that has various tips on how to use it, like mac tips of the day. |

And there's a website that has various tips on how to use it, like mac tips of the day. I will point you out on something, I have reinstalled Mac OSX Leopard multiple times on my parents laptop because of a memory error Apple refuses to admit and fix. From what I have found, on the Mac it takes WAY longer than Vista to install on my ThinkPad, ridiculously longer. Thats just my experience though. Also, to those who claim Macs DO NOT CRASH, they are complete liars. They crash, and when they do, they crash HARD. Not to say Windows does not either, but you can always get anything on a Windows PC back if you know what you are doing, unless the hard drive completely dies, which thats a hardware problem, not Windows. Which ultimately it is your money, you can get the same in a laptop running Windows as you would on a Mac for MUCH less. Also, Leopard is not resource friendly as many people say it is. Its not as bad as Vista, but its not ass good as XP or Tiger. A dual core laptop with the proper amount of memory will run Vista well, no questions asked. My ThinkPad has 2.5 gigs of ram and Intel Centrino Duo, and I have never had it freeze or crash any of my applications running Vista Home Premium. |
