My friend's problem and shes asking me for help that i think its hard to do... Options

Okay, I have this friend,who has broken up with her ex last year and is going out with her current bf for four months. AT first she was fine without her ex, but then later, she started to look back and misses him more and more. She then started to feel regretful and wanted him back in her life again. Her ex at first was waiting for her to come back to him, but then, he couldnt wait anymore and gave up. She is going to break up with her current bf just to wait for her ex. Her ex literally told her that he would never come back and plus he already has a girl, but she still doesnt give up and still waits. She asked me to help her bring him back to her, which i know it would be hard to do. Should i at least try to help her out? or should i just tell her to forget the past and move on with the new guy? Has this ever happen to you?

::nodds:: thats true, hmm for all i know is that he hates her and that he doesnt care about her pretty much... but eh i told her to wait and if he really does want to talk to her he'll call or sign on to tell her, but otherwise than that, just wait and move on little by little and we'll see whats going to happen. If he happens to miss her back and wants her back, then yayy for them happy ending, if not, well then she'll just have to move on without him. Thats all i could said to her right now, hopefully i did okay? *n.n*
