My friend's problem and shes asking me for help that i think its hard to do... Options

Okay, I have this friend,who has broken up with her ex last year and is going out with her current bf for four months. AT first she was fine without her ex, but then later, she started to look back and misses him more and more. She then started to feel regretful and wanted him back in her life again. Her ex at first was waiting for her to come back to him, but then, he couldnt wait anymore and gave up. She is going to break up with her current bf just to wait for her ex. Her ex literally told her that he would never come back and plus he already has a girl, but she still doesnt give up and still waits. She asked me to help her bring him back to her, which i know it would be hard to do. Should i at least try to help her out? or should i just tell her to forget the past and move on with the new guy? Has this ever happen to you?

Your friend needs to realize that sometimes there are no second chances. Sounds like she was in a rebound type situation with this new guy and was never really over her ex to begin with. If she wants to go back all she can do is say her piece to him and let him decide what he wants to do for himself.
