well, at first i hated the idea of them. completely. lol, in fact, i still don't really care for them; however, my gal happens to live 700 miles away. they can work, all it takes is finding someone who's worth the distance, who can feel close even with all those miles inbetween. they are still hard though. but worth it. very worth it.
