I'm not sure if its just my school but my teachers have told me that our school's budget has been cut dramatically. Meaning that we have lost nearly 24 courses and 7 subject teachers. This means that we won't be able to have any plays, afterschool programs, nothing! Stupid government. I'm pretty sure its occuring with the rest of the schools in the U.S. Have you guys undergone it yet?
Here's some info on it: http://www.redorbit.com/news/education/123...eyed/index.html I'll edit more later. What do you guys think about this? |

I really know nothing about government... but I thought it was district or state that controlled the school's funding? o_0 Not really sure.
But that really is completely stupid. I don't know where that money is going, b/c education is probably the most important thing. Kids will be missing out on things that they could enjoy and learn tremendous amounts from. :C I'm sorry. I would be devastated if this happened to my school, but I doubt it will since we're moving towards becoming an "arts academy." o_o |
