Okay, so my boyfriend went to mexico for week, and it's only the first day and I've had like crazy crying fits 5 or 8 times. Anything could set it off, just thinking about him since he's won't answer my phone calls. I don't know what he's doing right now so I'm trying to be open minded and I'm sure he's not ignoring me deliberately or anything.
I hope I'm not too obsessive but this is the longest I've been away from him and I'm not handling it too well. I've tried going out with friends, but I'm just miserable and something always reminds me of him. Any advice? |

I've been in a long distance relationship with my boyfriend since we went to separate universities last year. The key to surviving separation is regular communication, individual interests and hobbies and an ability to take anything said online or over the phone with a pinch of salt. Remember that he's separated from you as well - he'd be talking with you if he could. Try not to dwell on it, take your mind off him for a while and throw yourself into doing something you enjoy. I wouldn't be spending any time on Createblog if I were with my partner!
