I've been trying for quite some time to get this site up and running and well I'm having trouble. It's a gift site that is only available to U.S. and Canada. I'd like any tips on where I should try to get the word out for something like this. I pride my site on not asking for very personal information and giving away gifts for the least amount of work. I've had little to no luck in doing so. I was hoping some of you could either give me an idea as to where to announce this or maybe you could sign up and try to get your own gift. Any members really help get this site started. You can help me out and get a free gift all at once. I would appreciate any help.
LINK REMOVED Thanks. |

Well, first of all, you have to make it sound less like spam. Judging by your domain name alone, it really sucks and it screams, "SPAM" all over the place. Who's going to support you if they think they're just going to get scammed so that you can get hits on your website or something?
Don't make websites dedicated to this alone. Put a face behind it, personalize it, and once you reach that point where anonymous people support you and you have a fan base, then set up some referral thing. I just looked at the design alone, and it is not professionally designed. The aesthetics is poor; domain name is poor, and the idea is average, above all. Before you think you can just reach out to people by word of mouth, fix up what you have now. |
