i understand asking questions elicits responses from others, not only that but emotions as well. But how really do you get others to open up in conversation...getting them comfortable with you?

I just keep talking with them on a regular basis to build a friendship. Eventually it'll get to the point where conversation become effortless and the person starts telling you all kinds of mess.
