advice abby did not crash and burn until i quit and retards took it over. Not really. When CBNews team took over, it was fine, but we probably got only one or two requests coming in per edition and none at all one time. They were answered, but the lack of interest from the community was what really killed Advice Abby. |

They were answered, but the lack of interest from the community was what really killed Advice Abby. That is exactly the problem. Many people said they were in support of the idea and requested it, yet the three that I posted are the only e-mails I've gotten. No one has been sending anything in. The person who is the advice person really doesn't matter, since it's anonymous...that wouldn't affect the fact that people simply aren't sending that much in. I do find it kind of odd, however, that when I finally do get something to post, all of the sudden people are up in arms about my mere existence. One would think that the posts would be a good thing after waiting so long. |

One would think that the posts would be a good thing after waiting so long. people arent just going to want advice from someone they dont even know. it's not like you have the credentials to show these kids that you're capable of giving good advice. part of your job is to advertise yourself, build interest around the forums. post around more in relationships and start practicing giving advice to these kids. then they'll see you actually have something worthwhile to tell them. |
